Tech Corner

Introduction:

👋 Hi everyone!

This is your Lawrence Tech speaking/typing. I’m here to help you with all the cool technology you use at school — like your iPads, Chromebooks, computers, printers, and even your classroom screens.

If something doesn’t work the way it should, don’t worry — that’s what I’m here for! I'm kind of like a detective for technology: I figure out what's wrong and fix it so you can get back to learning and having fun.

💬 Have any questions for me?
It could be about how something works, what I do, or even how to take care of your tech — ask away! There's no such thing as a silly question.

I’m excited to help you all this year — let’s make it a great one!

Common Chromebook Troubleshooting Tips:

Keyboard Not Typing Correctly?

  • Make sure that your keyboard layout is set to "US" as indicated at the corner of your task bar (typically on the bottom right, but can be moved)
  • If it does not say "US" here's what you can do to change that
    • By Pressing ctrl+shift+spacebar you can cycle between all the different layouts until it says "US"
    • Or you can follow this guide to get it set properly
